Made the Ironman Press for qualifying at Wisconsin. They have started publishing articles about the qualifiers from the races for this year’s IM World Championships.
You have to read down the page a bit to see the 35-39 males, but it is cool to be recognized!

If you are interested, you can also follow along on Twitter at http://twitter.com/tmonk47229. I figured if they can find Lance’s bike on there then it is worth trying out.
I went to the airport yesterday only to learn my flight was going to be at least 4 hours late trying to fly to Chicago. I was looking forward to seeing Dr. Mercola. He is a fascinating guy with an awesome company, but below zero temperatures put an end to my flight.
The cancelled flight gave me a chance to start working on my presentation for the sales meeting next week and to take care of some other client issues back in the office.
Yesterday was an off day so no running to report of. Today is a short run and maybe a swim tonight.
I only have 3 days to go until the marathon.
Lastly, I could not do any more work on our CRM program last night and decided to tweak the website. I added a new header graphic and slightly changed the look. I welcome any comments and suggestions.
What does someone that has access to over 700 supplement products take? Since I started at Douglas Labs, Inc. I have tried just about everything. Here are a few of my favorites during the off season:
Elite Athlete Multi-Vitamin
This is a Dr. Specialty item in the Douglas Catalog designed by Dr. Cooper. Great formula designed for the active endurance athlete.
This is an enteric-coated fish oil supplying a high dose of EPA. This product is so pure and made so well, you have no chance of burping it up. If you are going to rely on your heart so much for this sport, you need to take good care of it.
Provides immune system support and is featured in countless clinical studies. Made by Mucos in Germany. I don’t train or recover without it.
I have tried many other products, but with this still the off season, I keep it simple. More to come as the season kicks off and I will talk about recovery beverages, bars, gels etc.
